# Phosphene > Make AI video with sound, songs and images on your own Mac. Phosphene is free and open source for Apple Silicon. LTX-2.5 and Hailuo H3 run offline. Your work stays local. App license: MIT. Model weights retain their own licenses. Yes. Your Mac makes the video and sound, songs and images. Download the models once, then you can render offline. Your prompts, photos and finished work stay on your machine. When online, the app checks GitHub for updates every 30 minutes, downloads models you request and sends anonymous usage counts. You can turn those counts off in Settings. Start with an Apple Silicon Mac, M1 or newer, and at least 16 GB of memory. That runs LTX-2.5 at smaller sizes. Songs need 24 GB; Hailuo H3 starts at 36 GB. At 48–64 GB, more modes and character training options open up. Phosphene checks your memory and shows what fits. Intel Macs and Windows are not supported. Set aside about 40 GB for the first install, which downloads 27.5 GB of models before you can start and about 10.7 GB more in the background. Add about 75 GB if you want Hailuo H3 and 11 GB for Music Studio. Downloads resume if your connection drops. Key features: - Write a scene (LTX-2.5 · H3): Describe what happens and what you hear. Get video with sound from the same prompt, from spoken lines to footsteps. - Move a picture (LTX-2.5 · H3): That photo on your phone could be an opening shot. Start with an image you took or made and turn it into video. - Choose the ending (LTX-2.5 · H3): Give it the first frame and the last. Let it work out the journey. Here, one coffee becomes a very long three days. - Keep it rolling (LTX-2.5 · H3): A good shot deserves a little longer. Add up to 15 seconds to a clip. The footage you already have stays untouched. - Make it sing (LTX-2.5 · H3): One picture. Your voice or song. An original character performs the audio, which stays exactly as you supplied it. Even a marble bust gets a solo. - Break the silence (Hailuo H3): Give a silent clip a voice, room tone and effects. H3 makes the sound and leaves the picture alone. - Make the whole film (Storyboard · One Shot · Editor): Build a film from one prompt or plan it shot by shot. Bring it together on the Editor timeline with music and room tone. Models: - LTX-2.5: Turn text or a picture into video with sound. Set keyframes, extend a take or redo a moment.
