Acceptable use policy.
Content and consent rules
Use Phosphene for original or stylised characters, consistent characters across shots, or your self-depiction with documented consent. These rules apply to prompts, reference files, training data and generated images, videos and audio.
- Do not replace one person's face with another.
- Do not mislead anyone about an individual's identity, actions, speech or endorsement, or create misleading synthetic media.
- Do not depict a real, identifiable person without their documented consent, whether a public figure or private individual. Keep a record of explicit permission for the specific use and provide it if we request it. Possessing a photo or recording is not consent.
- Do not create non-consensual content or sexual content depicting an identifiable individual, even with consent.
- Do not reproduce another individual's vocal identity.
See the Terms of Service for the full conditions of use.
Violations may result in termination of your Pro or Founding licence without refund, to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Report abuse through our contact page.
Follow the law and model licences
You must follow the law and each model's licence. Some models are for non-commercial use only, as labelled in the app. Pro covers our software features; models stay under their own licences.
Prohibited use
Do not use Phosphene to create or distribute:
- Sexual content involving minors. We have zero tolerance for this.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Any use that breaches the content and consent rules above.
- Harassment.
- Fraud or misinformation presented as real.
- Content that breaks a model's licence.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for what you generate, use and share. Everything runs on your own Mac. We do not see or store your prompts or outputs.
Reports and enforcement

We may terminate Pro or Founding licences used in breach of this policy without refund, to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
