From the first idea
to the final cut.

Make a shot. Write a song. Put the pieces together in Phosphene, a free, MIT-licensed app for Apple Silicon.

01 / EditorEditor guide

The film is in the cut.

Trim the ends. Split a clip. Drag the shots into order. Add music, titles and transitions, then render one film or send the timeline to Resolve, Premiere or After Effects.

Storyboard · write the brief, choose six shots and turn on Auto

Give it
the whole idea.

Storyboard turns your idea into a multi-shot film. Set the look, choose the cast and tell it what needs to happen.

Turn on Auto to plan the shots, render them, cut them together and make the film. Or review the plan first, mark takes KEEP, RE-ROLL or CUT, and take the keepers into the Editor.

Add a soundtrack to plan a music video cut to the beat.

03 / VideoVideo guide

Start with words.
Or a picture.

LTX-2.5 and MiniMax H3 generate video with sound, right here on your Mac.

Text & Image
Describe a scene, or give a still picture something to do. Choose LTX-2.5 or MiniMax H3.
Start & end frame · Keyframes
Set where a shot begins and ends. In LTX-2.5, use 3–8 keyframes to guide the moments between.
Extend
Pick a clip and describe what happens next. Continue it in LTX-2.5.
Lip-sync & Add sound
Make a picture talk or sing from your audio. Use MiniMax H3’s Add sound to give a silent clip its own soundscape.

One Shot makes a longer continuous take. Remix adds Ingredients, Motion Control and Colorize.

04 / Music & images
Audio → Compose · describe a song, or switch to Custom

A song to go with it.

In Music Studio, describe the song you want or write your own lyrics. YuE2 makes the vocals and the instruments.

Open Audio → Compose. Use Simple for an idea in plain words, or Custom for lyrics, style and song sections. Make an instrumental, try several takes, or cover a song you have permission to use.

Make the picture first.

Open Images to create a picture or change one you already have. Bring reference images of original characters, places or visual styles, or your self-depiction with documented consent. Try a few candidates, then use Animate to turn a favourite into a shot.

05 / Characters & tools

One character.
Across your scenes.

Choose Character in Video to generate consistent characters across LTX-2.5 shots. The Bizarro sample is the creator’s self-depiction, shared by him for testing. LoRAs let you add a character or a visual style; use the strength control to adjust the result.

Upscale & Face Fix

Give a clip twice the size with new detail. Face Fix refines detail from the source clip and retains its audio. Open it under Video → Remix, or from a finished clip.

Train Character

Train your own original characters and styles from 15 to 500 images. Add captions, choose a trigger word and set the training quality. Training runs locally and needs at least 24 GB of memory.
