Keyboard shortcuts
Phosphene uses the keys you already know from Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop and After Effects. Every tooltip that has a shortcut names it in brackets, and the Editor’s Keys button shows its own list.
Conventions ⌘ is Command (Ctrl works too), ⇧ Shift, ⌥ Option, ⏎ Return, ⌫ Delete. Keys never fire while you are typing in a text box, except ⌘⏎ and Esc. Nothing claims a key your browser or macOS needs — ⌘R still reloads, ⌘W still closes.
Anywhere
Not while you are typing in a text box — except ⌘⏎ and Esc.
| ? | Open the Docs on this page |
| ⇧1–⇧7 | Switch tab: 1 Video · 2 One Shot · 3 Images · 4 Storyboard · 5 Editor · 6 Audio · 7 Train Character |
| ⌘F | Jump to the search box on screen — Outputs, the Editor’s media pool, the LoRA browser or the Docs. Where there is none, the browser’s own Find opens. |
| ⎋ Esc | Close what is on top — a dialog, a menu, the Docs, the expanded player |
While writing a prompt
These work inside the text box.
| ⌘⏎ | Generate — from the Video prompt, the Images prompt, the Lip-sync prompt or the One Shot prompt. Same as pressing the Generate button, so it queues a render. |
| ⏎ ⌫ | In One Shot beats: ⏎ goes to the next beat · ⌫ in an empty beat goes back one |
Outputs and the player
On the Video, One Shot, Images and Audio tabs, with an output selected.
| Space | Play / pause the selected output |
| ← → | Previous / next output — wraps at the ends, works in the expanded player too |
| F | Expand the selected output to full screen (Esc closes it) |
| P | In the expanded player: Play all — every clip once, each photo for a few seconds — or pause it |
| ⌘⌫ | Move the selected output to the Trash — asks first, like the trash button on the card |
| R | New take — queue another render of the selected output, same recipe, a fresh seed (VC-03) |
